… just launched a website at http://useamap.com which I think you might be interested in. It is like TinyUrl.com but for maps. Simply put, it allows you to save your google map with a simple URL without needing them to register. The map will be saved with a short URL like http://useamap.com/Derek or any tag which is currently free..The free service was launched on Sunday and I hope that it will prove useful for others like you to use. Love it! Simple but brilliant. And here’s me thinking that there could be no more great Google maps mashups. Now if only they had decent maps of Co Cork.
