boards.ie page views increase by nearly 500,000 in August

I’m happy to say that the number of people visiting boards.ie increased substantially in August. We’ve been averaging at about 7.5 to 8 million page views for the past few months; this increased to nearly 8.5 million in August. (These figures include visitors to our adverts.ie subsite.)

Average: 7.14 P/V
Visits: 1,186,247
Page views: 8,468,102

These figures have not been certified, but looking at the recent audits from ABC Electronic, this would put us in eighth place behind Pigsback.com and IrishJobs.ie. Thanks to everyone for your support!

Prior to August your Apge viiew and visitor rate was already impressive. Wow.
What was the tipping point, - when did the boards.ie suddenly take-off?
What one factor or post or event sparked the huge interest in the website/

    Congrats,
you’ve developed a thriving network of activity

    I’m mightily impressed.

I’m not sure we had a tipping point, especially since we haven’t advertised as such.

It’s just steadily grown by word of mouth really! However, there has been a fair bit of publicity this past month…
