I’m fairly confident we’ll be moving to vB3 shortly. We’ve been testing the vBJournal hack and it seems to work very well - it will also be possible to link it to the new paid subscriptions system in vB3, which was a must. In theory, we should also be able to allow subscribers to have extra privileges - increased private messages and attachment space being some of them.
What I’d really like to see in the vBJournal is the ability to export to RSS 1.0 - a feature that is currently sadly lacking. But we may be able to hack something together fairly quickly after we changeover.

I hope the site doesnt end up looking as awful (imho) as some of the current forums running vb3.
Something that is currently lacking is the ability to link directly to specific vBJournal entries.
