Weetabix Fruit Loaf
This recipe from Mrs. Brenda Nuttall, Halifax, England, will yield 1 loaf.
Ingredients
- 2 Weetabix
- 6 oz. sugar
- 6 oz. sultanas
- 8 oz. self-raising flour
- 8 fl. oz. milk
Method
- Crush the Weetabix into fine crumbs.
- Add sugar, fruit and flour.
- Add milk and mix well.
- Pour into greased lined loaf tin.
- Bake at Gas Mark 4 / 350 °F for 60 to 70 minutes.
- Cool for 10 minutes.
- When cold, store in an airtight tin.
Lightspeed Tomato Soup
The preparation time is 30 seconds according to David B. Robinson.
Ingredients
- 1 bowl of V8 juice (preferably the reduced-salt type)
- 4 dashes garlic powder
- 8 dashes oregano
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Method
- Mix everything together, and microwave for a few minutes if you want.
- Dip some Weetabix biscuits (very crumbly shredded whole wheat) in it and eat.

Dear SirI am looking to buy a box which holds 12 weetabix and has the word weetabix written accross the top of it I am 60 plus and had one in the 1960s It was a tin one Could you advise me where to get one as it keeps kitchen cupboards tidy and free of crumbs Thank you for any help you can give
